Hi Friends! It’s been a minute! I have all kinds of bits and bobs I’ve been gathering for you and those will get posted soon (but not today).

I’ve been taking piano lessons and posting things for sale online. I still have about 60 more Pinup Girl Clothing items to get up on there and I’m trying to post one thing a day. I got a bunch of new glasses that I’m picking up soon. We went and saw the pro shot of Hadestown in the movie theatre and I’m already wanting to see it again. My hair is pink now! We’ve also been seeing some regional theatre with a couple of my dearest from high school. The garden is amazing and we’re going to have so many tomatoes that we’ll be Tomato Tycoons, if that’s even a thing. And the garden is all Nicole’s doing because she is absolutely magical with plants.

While all of the above has been keeping me busy, I miss having a regular writing project and I miss podcasting (aside from my Book Riot work). While I’m still poking around some new podcast ideas, I want to share my new newsletter, Material Materials. You can read all about it in the first short entry. I’m still reading up a storm and as always, you can see what I’m currently reading and what I’ve finished lately over on my Storygraph, including perhaps the funniest book I have ever read (highly recommend it on audio).

It is already past my bedtime so I’m going to call it a night and go brush my fangs. Miss you all and I’ll be writing to you soon!
