Hi friends. What a week! This week is a resource week and I am sure you can guess what all the resources will be about. I know that if you are a subscriber to this newsletter you are likely a smart and empathetic person but I’m going to say something on the off-chance that it is new information to you:

You cannot be both anti-racist and anti-abortion. You cannot be an LGBTQIA+ ally and also be anti-abortion. You cannot be an ally to disabled folks and also be anti-abortion. Access to healthcare, including abortion services, disproportionately affects folks in the BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and disabled communities. To put it another way, trying to tell me you are both anti-racist and anti-abortion is like telling me you agree that I should be safe from being punched in the face while you actively punch me in the face.

Also, this isn’t just a cis women’s issue; there are other folks that need access to abortion services as well.
