This week, I share my answer to a somewhat wild work icebreaker question I answered at a recent work retreat. If you’re looking for the free Resource issues, they post every other week and the full archive of free Resource issues (and paid essay issues) can be [found here.](https://www.theinfophile.com/archive/)

This is a paid subscriber-only issue of Enthusiastic Encouragement & Dubious Advice. Paying subscribers may forward this email to someone they think will benefit. I appreciate your support and respect for my work!

Hi friends! First of all, I don’t know if anyone here was impacted by Hurricanes Helene or Milton but if you were, please let us know if you and your loved ones are safe and if you have a GoFundMe or anything we can share.

As of Tuesday night of this week I hit my 2024 reading goal of 120 books. Granted, about a third of those were either picture books or graphic novels, which I accounted for in setting such a high goal. Honestly, I only set a goal so that it’s easier to track in Goodreads but I think it’s pretty neat that I made it. I’ve read some pretty great books this year that I’m excited to share with you in a future newsletter issue of the best books I read in 2024.
